Date of Passing: Mar 15, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE GILBERT (nee TIPPING) Born Radcliff, England, January 13, 1920 - March 15, 2003 With deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She always explained everything so well and taught us so much. She will always be missed by her son John (Anita), granddaughter Tannis Day (Darin), great-grandchildren, Paige and Connor, grandson Adam (Monica), and by her daughter Lynne Cascisa (Tom), grandson Tony (Jennifer), great-grandson Quin, grandson Robbie and granddaughter Randall. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1979 who, together with their children, immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1951. Mom loved the camaraderie she enjoyed while serving as a Sargent in the British Army. Later on when the children were older she spent many years with Canada Manpower. These last few years Mom has greatly enjoyed living at Lions Place sharing her dry and sometimes unconventional sense of humour with her many friends there. Cremation has taken place according to her wishes. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORIUM 220 Hespeler at Henderson Hwy. 668-3151
