WASYL (WILLIAM) SENIUK William Seniuk passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2003 at Seven Oaks General Hospital. Bill is survived by his wife Ann of 65 years of marriage; two sons and one daughter, Bill (Mary), Steve (Carol), and Cathy; grandchildren John (Sue), Bill (Christy), Debbie (Larry), Kevin (Leanne), and David; great-grandchildren Jennifer, Matthew, Megan, Mandy and Bradley. Bill was born in Poland on August 22, 1912. In 1938 he came to Canada with his parents, brother and sister-in-law. Before moving to Winnipeg, he farmed at Hythe, AB. Bill was employed by CPR for many years until he retired. He enjoyed carpentry, gardening and taking long walks. Bill and Ann often walked to the mall to meet their friends. He especially enjoyed playing cards with his neighbor and friend Tony Osipa. Bill was predeceased by his parents, brother and his son-in-law Dave. At Bills request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 1:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Should family and friends so desire, donations may be made in his memory to the Manitoba Heart Foundation.
