Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTUART BASSETT WILEY June 26, 1931 - March 13, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stuart Wiley on March 13, 2003 at the age of 71. He is deeply loved and missed by his wife Margaret; daughter Christine (Larry), son John; son Alan (Diane) sisters, Yvonne (Tom), Verna (Gordon), Helen (Chester) and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Stuart was predeceased by his parents, William and Lily; and by his brother Ronald. Stuart enjoyed a variety of occupations, including working at Eatons, as a machinist with the CNR, as a Petty Officer 1st Class / Officer Cadet with the Royal Canadian Navy, and as a Canadian Penitentiary Officer. He also served in the Army Reserve with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles. Stuart had many interests including philosophy, teaching photography, writing and volunteering with the Buteko Breathing Group. He also enjoyed playing music with his family. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Stuart had lived in Chilliwack, BC since 1973. A private family service will be held. Should friends desire, donations in Stuarts memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
