Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE JEANNE dARC FONTAINE Marie Jeanne est passee de cette vie a sa demeure eternelle le 14 mars 2003. Nee le 19 decembre 1920, elle vecut sa vie a Saint-Boniface sauf quelle passa quelques annees au Quebec. Elle fut precedee par ses parents et son frere Jean. Elle laisse dans le deuil, son frere Rosaire, sa soeur Rose Anna ainsi que plusieurs nieces et neveux. Elle sest toujurs tenue au courant de ce qui se passait dans le monde autour delle et au loin, avec laide de son appareil electronique de vision pour les aveugles. Son savoir faire comme jardiniere, ne cessait jamais de surprendre ses voisins et voisines. Elle jouissait enormement de ses soirees de danse chaque semaine avec ses amis du C.N.I.B. Les Peres Blancs Missionnaires dAfrique ainsi que le C.N.I.B. ont ete les beneficiaires de ses oeuvres de charite au cours de sa vie. Les prieres seront recitees a 19h00 le vendredi 21 mars 2003 au Salon mortuaire Desjardins, 357, rue Des Meurons. La Messe de la Resurrection sera celebree par le Rev. Pere Alphonse Bongo, le samedi 22 mars a 10h00 en la Cathedrale de Saint-Boniface. Linhumation aura lieu au Cimetiere de Glen Lawn. Une reception suivra au Salon mortuaire Desjardins. Entre tes mains, je remets Seigneur mon esprit. Entre tes mians, je remets ma vie. Il faut mourir afin de vivre. Entre tes mains, je remets ma vie. MARIE JEANNE dARC FONTAINE At the Lords calling Marie Jeanne entered eternal life on March 14, 2003. Born on December 19, 1920, she resided in St. Boniface most of her life, except for the few years spent in Quebec. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother Jean. She is survived by her brother Rosaire and sister Rose Anna, numerous nieces and nephews. In spite of her failing eyesight, she kept herself up to date on current, local and international events with the use of her electronic reading machine for the blind. She was an eager gardener, constantly surprising her neighbours with her horticultural abilities. Right up to the time of her demise, she enjoyed her line-dance soirees with her friends at the Institute for the Blind. The White Fathers as well as the Institute for the Blind were the beneficiaries of the major part of her lifes savings. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. Funeral mass, presided by Rev. Fr. Alphonse Bongo will held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 in the St. Boniface Cathedral. Interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
