Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE EVA COOPER It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Beatrice Eva Cooper on March 17, 2003 at the Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home at the age of 94. Mom was born in Thornhill, MB on September 26, 1908 and was predeceased by her husband John and her sister Greta. She is survived by her son Mel with wife Trudy and their children, Janet (Michael Meissner) and Glen (Darla) and her other son Ray with wife Janet and their two sons, Jeff and Craig. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Chelsea Meissner; and by many nieces and nephews. Raised in Winnipeg, she attended Bannatyne School and had embarked on a career in nursing when she met and married John in 1933. She devoted her entire life to her husband, sons and their families. Her many favourite pastimes included knitting, square dancing, 5-pin bowling and carpet bowling. Beas last three years were spent in the loving and attentive care of the staff at Pembina Place Mennonite Personal Care Home for which the family is extremely grateful. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to a charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
