Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE MARSISCHUK December 5, 1927 - March 19, 2003 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, aunt and friend on Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at the age of 75 years. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Francis Marsischuk; sister Jessie and brother-in-law Roger Ogibowski. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Marion Ogibowski of Minnedosa; brother Marvin (Lena) Marsischuk of Brandon; sister Lil (Mike) Sichewski of Winnipeg and sister May (Dennis) Siwak of Winnipeg and many nieces and nephews. After finishing high school, Anne taught school for one year in Fork River. She then moved to Portage la Prairie and managed a gift shop there, enjoying the travelling she did for the buying trips for the store. She later managed the A&W Drive Inn for many years. Anne met a lot of people throughout her lifetime and would always recant to her family all of her experiences. Anne was a wonderful, generous and caring person. Her great loves were her family and her faith. She also loved gardening, reading and doing many crossword puzzles. She returned to the home farm in the Sandy Lake area after her father passed away in 1982, to look after her mother. They lived on the family farm together for 14 years and then moved to Winnipeg in 1996. Thank you to the staff of Deer Lodge Care Home for taking such great care of Anne. Thank you GOD, our FATHER for this, our sister, aunt, friend, her love and her legacy of memories. Raes Funeral Services of Shoal Lake, MB are in care of arrangements.
