ALBERT THOMAS PIETRAS It is with great sadness that the Pietras family has to announce the passing of their father on March 17, 2003, at the Stonewall and District Health Center. Bert was predeceased by his wife Shirley. Bert will be remembered dearly by his daughters, Patricia (Torben), Karen (Raymond) and his sons, John (Carolyn) and Joe (Sarah). He will be missed by his nine grandchildren, Natasha (Patricia), Tristen, Quinten, Chelsea (Karen), Nickolas, Dominique, Danielle (John) and Joshua, Jenna (Joe). Bert is also survived by his brothers, Stan and Dennis; and his sister Shirley. He will also be sadly missed by his closest personal friend Jean Hack. Bert was a long standing member in the community of Stonewall. He started with the Co-op, managed the Credit Union, started the Chicken Delight and H&R Block. Over the years he was involved with the Kinsmen, Masons and the Lions Club. He will be deeply missed. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2003 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered for all he did! MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
