RHETA GRIFFITH Rheta Griffith of Swan River, MB passed away in the Swan Valley Hospital on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 at the age of 83 years. Rheta is survived by her children, Marilyn Buisman of Moorhead, Minnesota, Valerie (Ray) Mullin of Bowsman, MB, Gary Griffith of Bowsman, Arthur (Wendy) Griffith of Kenville, MB, and Leslie (Pia) of St. Albert, AB; grand-children, Scott (Cathy), Carolyn (Andy), Darren, Deanna (John Ian), Clinton, David (Trisha), Sheldon, Toni and Rihana; great-grandchildren, Brenna, Lauren and Ethan; two sisters, Helen Ford of Vancouver, BC, and Shirley Stiles of Cape May, NJ; sister-in-law Edna Kling of Winnipeg, MB; brothers-in-law, Carl (Gertie) Griffith of Bowsman Hughie Griffith of Bowsman and Wilbert Griffith of Bowsman. Rheta was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Margaret MacInnes; husband James on August 14, 1992; sisters, Margaret (Mickey), Vera and Colina; brothers, Alex and Harry; son-in-law Andy Buisman; sisters-in-law, Pearl Griffith and Rose Griffith. A celebration of Rhetas life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 from the Royal Canadian Legion Hall, Bowsman, with Rev. Kathy Highmoor officiating. Rheta will be laid to rest in the Bowsman Cemetery following the service. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Rhetas honour may be made to the Swan Valley Health Facilities Foundation Inc.
