BRENDA LYNNE HOFBAUER (nee MAGEL) Brenda passed away peacefully on March 18, 2003 in Calgary, AB at the age of 51. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Andy; son Trevor; and daughter Lauren; brother Glen and wife Susan of Vancouver; brother Brian and wife Susie; nieces, Charissa and Nicole of Chicago; and mother-in-law Louise Hofbauer of Burnaby, BC. Brenda was born August 27, 1951 in Winnipeg and upon graduating from Garden City Collegiate, she started her career with CIBC Bank and then Shell Canada in Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Calgary. Brenda married Andy on November 30, 1990 and together they raised their children in Port Moody and Calgary. Her children and husband were the light of her life. Brenda excelled at homemaking and entertaining. She enjoyed her family, home, travel, and treasured her many relatives and close friends. Brenda loved life and will be remembered for her generosity, her caring and selfless spirit, and her positive outlook on life. How fortunate we all were to have had her in our lives. She was a ray of sunshine to us all. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Cremation to follow.
