MARGARET (RETA) WILSON KIMPEL (nee MacDONALD) It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Margaret (Reta) Wilson Kimpel on Sunday, March 16, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 85 years. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her loving husband Lyle, of 59 years of marriage; sons, Laurie of Winnipeg and Dana (Lorraine) of Toronto; grandchildren, Bruce (Shannon), Jonathan (Shawna), Allan and Eric; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Jade; sisters, Catherine (Cathy) Hawkes and Irene Tallon; sister-in-law Adele Thomson; and special friend Theresa Lemieux. Reta was predeceased by her brother Allan MacDonald; and her parents, Elizabeth MacDonald (Donahue) and Allan MacDonald. Reta was born in Montreal on September 15, 1917 and moved to Ottawa with her family. There she met and married Lyle on August 2, 1943. They then moved to Vancouver and started a family. In 1961, they moved to Winnipeg where Reta excelled in her chosen vocation as homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. There was never a selfish moment as she dedicated her life to her family. In keeping with our familys wishes, no formal funeral service will be held.
