VINCENT ARTHUR RINELLA Peacefully on March 20, 2003 at Concordia Hospital, our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Vince, passed away at the age of 76, after a brief struggle with cancer. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Erna; his daughters, Joyce, Janice (Gordon), Lois (Bob) grandsons, David, Andrew, Michael, Aaron, Matthew, Daniel, Nathan and great-grandchildren, Dillon and Alyssa. He will also be fondly remembered by numerous friends and relatives. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Diana; his sister Marie Helm and his son-in-law Tom Hadaller. Vince was in the restaurant business for a number of years. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed spending winters in Mesa, Arizona. He was an avid baseball player pitching for seniors teams in Mesa and Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint) with Father Ed. Bonin officiating. Following the service, a time of fellowship and refreshment will be held in the reception centre. Interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens.
