Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWINNIFRED MARY DOUGLAS Passed away at the Oakview Nursing Home, March 21, 2003 at the age of 95 years. Win was predeceased by her husband Percy. Surviving are her three sons, Jack (Alice), Gord (Irene) and Roy (Gail) 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, five sisters and one brother. Win and Percy made their home in the Brooklands area on McDermot Avenue. Win was a foster parent to many children. Her life was devoted to her family and she was thrilled when a new baby came into the family. She will be sorely missed and remembered fondly by her family. In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held, when she will be joined with her husband Percy. The family would like to thank the staff at Oakview for their kindness and compassion in their care for their mother. Viewing will take place, Monday, March 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance.
