RUPERT JAMES WOODHOUSE April 11, 1938 - March 20, 2003 Accidentally on March 20, 2003, we announce the sudden passing of our dad, grandpa, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle, Rupert Woodhouse of Fairford, MB. Rupert was born on April 10, 1938 and lived in Fairford, then moved to Ashern. Rupert was a commercial fisherman in Lake St. Martin for many years. Rupert leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his beloved two adopted grandsons, Brian and Darrell; his mother Mary Woodhouse of Fisher River Personal Care Home; his six sons, Patrick, Eric (Darlene), Sydney, Karely, Riley and Jethro; his two daughters, Connie and Shirley; 18 grandchildren; two great-grand-children; six sisters, Alice (Einar) Woodhouse, Vernice Moseberger, Aurellia (George) Obradovic of Winnipeg, Olive (Percy) Stevenson of Peguis, Fern (Gary) Welz and Joan of Winnipeg; one brother Raymond (Charlotte) special cousin Joe (Ruth) Anderson of Fairford; special niece Eunice; brother-in-law Peter Beardy of Lake St. Martin; sister-in-law Maria Murdock of Winnipeg; as well as numerous aunties and cousins. Rupert was predeceased by his father Gilbert Woodhouse in 1994. Wake services will be held on Sunday, March 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lake St. Martin Pentecostal Church. Wake services will also be held on Monday, March 24 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25 at 12:00 p.m. Both these services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB, with Rev. Charles Bittern officiating. Interment will follow at the St. Helens Anglican Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Ashern Ambulance, Chiefs and Council of Fairford, Lake St. Martin and Dauphin River.
