JOSEPH BULAS It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Joseph Bulas on March 21, 2003. His memory will be cherished by his children, Brian, Darryl (Sharon), Kelly, and Duane (Lisa) grandchildren, Tammy, Crystal, Harrisen, Sharriden, and Mitchell; and great-grandchild James-Joseph. Verna and special friend Elsie, his brother Emil Bulas (Carol), sister Darlene Moar (Archie), and sister-in-law Diann Bulas, and numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Nellie Bulas and brother Walter. Joseph was born in Alonsa, MB and moved to Winnipeg where he was employed as a steelworker at Manitoba Bridge and Engineering until his retirement. Dad lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hunting and any welding work. He will always be remembered for his pickles, soups, homemade sausage, and quick wit and sharp tongue. He truly loved his family and grandchildren and was always there for them and everyone else. Pallbearers: Shawn Bulas, Kelly Watson, Darrin Bulas, Darwin Moar, John Shultz and Jason Ryzner. Honorary pallbearer Walter Ryzner. Service will take place on Thursday, March 27 at Alonsa Community Hall at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
