Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySHARON FOSTER On Saturday, March 22, 2003 after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer, it is with the utmost grief and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Sharon. She passed away at E.M. Crowe Hospital, Eriksdale, MB, with her family at her side. Mom was born July 5, 1940. She married Ken, August 10, 1963. Together they raised five children. Mom lived in Lundar where she enjoyed curling, playing Ladies fastball and was one of the founding members of the Lundar Royal Purple. Most of her life was spent as a homemaker. In her later years she worked with Sigfusson Northern, doing what she loved...cooking. Her boys in camp will miss her cinnamon buns, fresh bread and ponnukurs, as much as she missed them, when she was unable to work. She took great pride in her clean house and fresh baking. She was predeceased by her mother Ruby; grandmother Maude; brother-in-law Albert; daughter Charmaine; and mother-in-law Clara. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ken; their children, Shaunna (Richard), Brad (Alanna) son-in-law Aldo, Kim, Kendra (Ian), Sharona (Norman). Her grandchildren, Ricky, Nicco, Holly, Ben, Tyler, Tracey, Gabrielle, Stefano, Taylor, Jordan, Alexis, Samara and Jayden. Her great-grandchildren, Shayne, Tessa and Nevaeh; and her special friend, her dog Maxie. Also her father-in-law Bill; brother-in-law Lorne (Lue) three sisters-in-law, Doris, Lorraine (Bob), Bev (Wayne) and families. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 29 at the Lundar Lutheran Church with Pastor Nancy Walker officiating. Service will conclude at the church with a family interment to be held at a later date. Honourary pallbearers will be her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. Ken and family would like to say a special thank you to his sisters, Lorraine and Bev for all their special care of mom, while she was home. Many thanks to the staff at Seven Oaks and Eriksdale Hospitals. Mom we love you We miss you, And you will be in our Hearts forever. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in her memory, to the Lundar Lutheran Church Fund or to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOME LTD ASHERN-LUNDAR (204) 768-2072
