JIM ROBERTSON Robertson_ James Alexander Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba May 22, 1926. Peacefully after a brief illness, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Alexander Robertson on the 23rd day of March 2003 at Oakview place, Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 76 years. Surviving him is his son Brent Robertson of Calgary, Alberta; daughter Brenda Kennedy and grandson Deryk of Winnipeg, Manitoba; sister Jean Beattie; nephew Gary Beattie; nieces Gail Beattie and Gwen Beattie of Winnipeg, Manitoba; and nephew Grant Beattie of British Columbia. Jim was at peace with his lifestyle and lived life day to day and every day to the fullest, when he wasnt working he enjoyed spending time with his many friends and always had a good story to tell or a couple of good jokes. Jim loved the outdoors and spent many weekends hunting, fishing and exploring the countryside, his many friends and business associates will sadly miss him. Cremation took place on March 25, 2003 in Winnipeg; a memorial service to be held in Winnipeg will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank the 2nd floor nurses and staff at Oakview Place as well as Bill and Herb Sparrow for their care and attention given during his illness.
