ELMER JOSEPH STRONG Passed away suddenly on Friday, March 21, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, Elmer Strong aged 65 years of Langruth. Born March 8, 1938 in the Langruth District, Elmer received his education at Hollywood School and had since farmed in the Airdale District. Predeceased by his parents, Tom and Alice Strong; a brother Jack and a sister Judy. Elmer will be fondly remembered by his wife Dorothy, sisters, Marjorie and Bill Minton, Doreen and George Howatt, and Joan McLaughlin; one aunt Margaret Hirsekorn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Elmer and Katherine Evenson; as well as many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Elmer centered his life around his family and home. He was very fond of horses and cattle and enjoyed going to auction sales. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Langruth Community Hall with Rev. Debra Orton officiating. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements.
