KELLY LEIGH MALCOLM (nee GRIFFIN) Peacefully, on Sunday, March 23, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her children, parents and special friend Deborah, Kelly passed to join her grandparents. Kelly was the dearly beloved and cherished daughter of Ed and Carol Griffin of Lac du Bonnet, MB. Kelly was born in Dauphin, MB on March 11, 1962 where she received her early education. She graduated from Keewatin College as a Phase II Dental Assistant and was employed at Plaza Dental in Thompson as office manager and dental assistant and was lovably called "The Sarge" for her humourous attempts to keep everything running smoothly. Kelly was an extremely kind and giving person and always managed to find the best in everyone. In keeping with her generous nature, Kelly has donated her organs to the Manitoba Transplant Program to help improve the quality of life of others. Kellys love for her children knew no bounds, and she put their needs far above anything else in the world. Kelly leaves to mourn her son Ryan, age five; her daughter Laura, age 13; her sister Kathleen, her parents, her special friend and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Lac du Bonnet on Friday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Johns Anglican Church. Interment will take place at a later date.
