Isabel was born on June 7, 1920 in Winnipeg, grew up in the West End and was an avid swimmer. She met Harold at Sherbrook Pool. She was well known for her special birthday cakes for friends and relatives and for the blueberries, which she loved to pick. Isabel and Harold enjoyed travelling and spending time at the lake fishing, they also wintered in Mesa, AZ for many years. In her later years many evenings were spent with her friends at the Parkside Seniors Social Club. Isabels family wish to express their gratitude for the excellent care Isabel received from the staff on 3rd floor West, Concordia Hospital, and thank you to all of our friends and family who assisted us in this difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, March 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Although Isabel loved flowers, they are gratefully declined.
