KATHLEEN MARY WILLIAMS (nee GLOVER) "God couldnt be Everywhere, so He created Mothers" Peacefully at dawn, on March 26, 2003, with her family gathered around her, Kathleen Mary Williams (nee Glover) passed away after a brief illness. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 53 years, Frank; children, Ted (Lucille), Gary (Bernice), Pat (Frank) Bradics, Janet Brown (Rob Simard) grandchildren, Laura (Joe), Steven, Mark, Brent, Jennifer, Mitchell, Amanda and Matthew; sisters, Roberta (John) Clake and Ruth (Ian) Lillie and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, Jack Sukava of London, ON, Dave (Lucy) Williams of Granada Hills, CA and sisters-in-law, Joyce (Glen) Cawker of Caledonia, ON, Coral Williams of Victoria, BC, and Addie Williams of Salmon Arm, BC. She will also be missed by her beloved Cocker Spaniel Sandi. She was predeceased by her parents, Rev. Canon Fred Glover and Elspeth Winram Glover; her sister Margaret; brother Paul and grandchild Carter Frank. Kathleen was born in Winnipeg July 17, 1926, and grew up in the Wolsely area. Many happy summers were spent at Victoria Beach growing up and later with her own family. She graduated from the Winnipeg General Hospital School of Nursing in 1948, pursuing her career until the arrival of her children. Her most precious times were spent with her family, frequent family dinners being her most treasured times. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and crossword puzzles, reunions with her classmates and the friendships of the White Ensign. She was very proud of her family with her grandchildren holding a special place in her heart. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Kathleens life will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Bartholomews Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood Dr., Windsor Park. The family wishes to thank staff from St. Boniface Emergency, 5A and 5E and also the very caring staff at Riverview Health Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Cancer Care MB, HSC Neo Natal Unit or the Winnipeg Humane Society. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J.
