ESTHER EILEEN COOK (nee EUNSON) It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Esther Cook on Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at the Victoria General Hospital. Esther was born January 11, 1925 in Winnipeg, MB. She worked in Eatons Notions Deparment for 30 years where she had many fond memories and friends. Esther was very proud of her Scottish heritage and was very fond of cats and loved her pet cat (Tiffy). Esther was a very generous, loving and caring person. Esther will be lovingly remembered and cherished in the hearts of her loving husband Gordon Cook, who will miss her dearly; her son Doug (Louise) her daughters, Judy (Dave), Sandy (Bob) and her grandchildren, Colin, Meaghen, Devon, Dustin, Jessica, Chris and Jeff. Also left to mourn are her brother Charles Eunson; sisters-in-law, Stephanie Eunson, Jean Eunson and Elsie Eunson (Victoria, BC). She was predeceased by her brothers, Jack Eunson, Bill Eunson, Andrew Eunson and sister-in-law Jeanne Eunson. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Donnelly United Church, 1226 Waller Ave. Interment to follow at Garry Memorial, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
