Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM JOHN HAROLD HAMILTON Suddenly on Wednesday, March 26, 2003 at Bloodvein, MB, William John Harold Hamilton passed away at the age of 68 years. Harold was born at Bloodvein on March 26, 1935 and had resided there until the time of his demise. Harold worked for the Government of Manitoba as a Forest Ranger in Bloodvein and the surrounding areas. Harold also worked as an L.C.C. member for Bloodvein Child and Family Services and was a commercial fisherman. He had a great sense of humour, loved to tease and make people laugh. He enjoyed visiting and driving his vehicle around the community. He will be sadly missed by the community he loved so much. Harold left us on his 68th birthday, March 26, 2003, which we will never forget. He will be missed by all who knew him. Harold was predeceased by his mother Marie Strang and father Harry Hamilton; stepbrothers, Melvin, Morton, James and Freddy; just recently deceased brothers, Patrick (March 1, 2003) and Gordon (March 25, 2003). He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his wife Illa of 40 years; son Roland (Mary Anne) and daughter Myrtle (Darrell) Trevor Duck, whom they raised as their own son; grandson Ian, whom they raised from infancy; grandchildren, Michael, Roxanne, Evan and Lea Anne, Ian and Morton; great-grandchild Reanne; stepbrothers, Roddy Hamilton (Imelda) and Ronnie Hamilton and Edwin Orvis; and stepsister Mary Ann Owens. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Wake services were held on Friday, March 28, and will also be held Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30 at Bloodvein, MB. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m., also at Bloodvein, with Brother David Russell officiating. Interment to follow at Bloodvein Cemetery.
