DAVID EDWARDS Van MUIJEN Suddenly, on March 27, 2003, Alfred David Edwards Van Muijen, aged 72, passed on. David was born in Jakarta (Batavia), Indonesia. He served in the Royal Dutch Navy from 1946 to 1955. David married Augustine (nee Carp) in 1957. With their four children, they immigrated to Canada in 1968. They were blessed with their fifth child, Lara, in 1969. David retired from CN in 1993 and continued to live life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly by his constant companion "Guusje"; children, Pearl (Bob), Haijo, Shirley, Arthur (Starr) and Lara; grandchildren, Wolfgang, Taeven, Jay, Lee-Anne, Tyla and Bree-Anne. Also his "Tante Akka" (Hakker) who was always there for him, Carlijn, Cees and Nico, all of The Hague, NL, Joy Van der Vliet in Charlottetown, John Ryan (husband of Davids late sister Judith), and his very best friend "Sinjo". His many friends will remember his humour and fun-loving nature. The family will make arrangements for a celebration of Davids life at a later time, as there will not be a funeral service. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society is appreciated.
