ANNE WALTERSON (nee SHALEY) Peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, Anne passed away at Concordia Hospital on March 27, 2003. Anne was predeceased by her husband Emil, her parents, Steve and Katharine; her brother John; and her brother-in-law William. Left to celebrate her life are her daughters, Heather (Gerrie) Prescott and Eleanor (Wayne) Norburn; her grandchildren, David (Elizabeth) Prescott, Lisa (Pascal) Prescott, Jeff (Melody) Norburn, Cathy (Doug) Heiling, Derek, Calvin, Shawn, James, Elizabeth, Samuel, and Abraham Norburn; and her great-grandchildren, Hillary and Malcolm Prescott, Diandra and Rylan Norburn, and Nicole and Trevor Heiling. Anne will also be missed by her sisters, Mary (Mike) Podolsky and Stephanie Kolenda; her nieces, Gail (Victor) Calladine, Alice (Don) Capri; and her good friends, Lucy, Shirley, and Nathalie. Anne was very much a people person. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends, and made new friends easily. With a beautiful, friendly smile, she was quick to laugh and did so often, charming all those around her. A mischievous glint in her bright, shining eyes reflected her love of adventures and escapades, for which she will always be remembered. We will all miss the light she brought into our lives, the joy to our hearts and the smiles to our faces. A Rose A rose may lose its bloom, But still the fragrance lingers long. A bird may fly away, Yet we can still recall its song. So when someone who is loved departs To join the Lord above, Theyll live and laugh and be with us In memories of love. -Author Unknown Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at her home for the past three years, Concordia Place (1000 Molson St.) on Wednesday, April 2. The service will commence at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel with Chaplain John Friesen officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society (5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3). CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
