ALFRED (FRED) OTTO WEGNER March 28, 1934 - March 27, 2003 It is with deep sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Alfred Otto Wegner on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 68 years. Alfred resided in Winnipeg for the past 46 years after emigrating from Germany. Remaining to forever cherish his memory are sons, Kevin and Dieter Wegner; daughters, Iris Wegner (Paul Cazakoff), Corina Phayouphone (Phouthasinh) six grandchildren, Richard, Jonathan, Brian, Leslie, Aleigha and Adom; one great-grandchild Brieal. Alfred also leaves behind family in Germany, many friends and last but not least his "doggie" Guido. In compliance with Alfreds wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Our family would like to thank the Health Sciences Centre for their caring and kind staff. A special "thank you" to Leeann for making it just a little easier, to Deacon Joe McLellan and his wonderful wife Matrine for their love and support as always, and to Wojciks Funeral Chapel.
