BEATRICE SHUTE 1919 - 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Beatrice May (McKelvey) Shute of Calgary, AB on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at the Rockyview General Hospital at the age of 83 years. Bea was born in Winnipeg, where she spent her early years, marrying her high school sweetheart, Edward, on April 5, 1941. They enjoyed 61 years together, moving frequently, living in Toronto, Montreal, Indonesia and Calgary. Bea lived life to the fullest, taking advantage of many arts and sporting events. Most especially, Bea enjoyed several years as an active member of the Southwest Seniors Club where she had numerous special friends. Besides her loving husband, Ed, Bea will be forever remembered by her four children, daughters, Marilyn (Mike) Rybchuk, Jacquie (Paul) Reinprecht, Sandi (Frank) Olson, and son Dennis (Pat) Shute. She is also remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Colin Wright, Cheryl (Tyler) Hadfield, Mark Rybchuk, Corinne (Paul) Yusypchuk, Jeff Reinprecht, Steve Reinprecht, Brendan (Barb) Olson, Christine Olson (Owen McCardle), Mike Olson and Adam Shute. Bea was also thrilled with her two great-grandsons, Matthew Hadfield and Andrew Yusypchuk; and will also be missed by her two sisters-in-law, Grace McKelvey and Kay McKelvey; and her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father and mother, William and Margaret McKelvey; two sisters, Myrtle Beally and Elinor Norrie; and four brothers, Leonard, Gordon, Howard and Bob McKelvey.
