MAJOR WILLIAM ALBERT CASWELL CREW Courageously on Monday, March 31, 2003, Dad marched from the Grace Hospital at the age of 78, into the arms of his wife Joan, who had predeceased him by a couple of months. Dad leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his children, Tom (Stephanie), Laurie (Andy), Shaun (Judy) and Brett (Sandy) grandchildren, Michael, Marnie, Jordan, Chase, Colton, Austin, Elaine and Stephen; sisters-in-law Frances, Polly and Shirle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, Legion comrades and dear friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, April 4, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. A reception will follow the service at the Charleswood Legion. The family would like to thank the staff of the Third Floor, Grace Hospital for their care and compassion.
