Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES ELIZABETH LILLIES On April 1, 2003, Agnes passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg at the age of 89. Predeceased by her parents, Oscar Harper Lillies and Edna Florence May; her twin sister Frances (1931) and sisters, Lillian (wife of the late Bradley Brownrigg) and Vivian (wife of Tom Harcus). Survived by sisters, Florence (the late Clarence Anderson) and Edna (the late Ted Pinniger) and brothers, Leslie (the late Joyce) and Tom (Grace) and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews. Agnes was raised in the Rockwood area but spent most of her working life in Montreal. She returned to live in Winnipeg in 1976. She was a resident of Lions Place and a member of Young United Church. Cremation has taken place. Interment in the Lillies family plot at the Stonewall Cemetery will take place. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 10, 2003 in the Chapel of Mackenzie Funeral Home, 433 Main St., Stonewall, to be officiated by The Rev. Mary Best from the Stonewall United Church. A reception in celebration of Aggies life will follow at the funeral home. Flowers are gratefully declined. Thanks are extended to family, friends and health care providers who assisted during her recent illness.
