DOROTHY MAY CANNING It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Dorothy May Canning on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at the age of 96. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children, Margaret, Doreen, Barbara, Jim (Betti), Linda, and George (Jane). She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Glenda (Al), Rick (Carol), Donna, Anita, Kyle, Colleen (John), Paisley, Robert, Dr. Jeff (Laura) and Greg. Her great-grandchildren, Kayla, Taylor, Andrew, Adam, Malcolm, Brett, Zakk and Jeffrey. She was predeceased by her husband Bernarr; daughter Irene; mother and father William and Jessie; and two sisters, Rose and Daisy. The family wishes to thank staff at the Concordia Place Care Home for their care during Dorothys stay there. She left a lasting impression on all who knew her and will be sadly missed. A funeral service for family and friends will be held at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy., on Friday, April 4 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be held prior to the service.
