POLLY DIDOSHAK With great sadness the family of Polly Didoshak announces her passing on April 1, 2003 at the age of 71 after a brief illness. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Bud (Linda) and Peter. Baba will also be forever remembered by her granddaughter Kristy Marie, who was her pride and joy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Polly was predeceased by her husband Robert in 1994. Mom was born April 10, 1931 in Winnipeg, the daughter of Walter and Anna Kucharchuk. She married her husband Robert and raised her children in West Kildonan. She was employed by Scott Bathgate until her retirement in 2001. All her life, her passion was her music. She played the piano and the violin and performed in an orchestra. She thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the first chair. Her greatest musical moment was when her granddaughter performed Ukrainian dancing while she was playing. Another special moment was when Kristy performed a solo dance for her Baba, dressed in a costume that was her Babas when she was young. Mom was a great person with a colourful character and a great sense of humour. She made many new friends when she moved to Selo Villa and enjoyed everyones company. She will be missed. Though lifes sun has set Certainly Mom you had lived life A Wife, a Mom, a Grandmother We look back and do remember Mostly the days were endless with laughter But there were lifes storms That you endured We look now and always With an understanding Certainly Mom you had lived life Though lifes sun has set Surely you have reached your hand Putting yours in the hand of God in Heaven. According to Pollys wishes there will be no memorial service. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
