FRANCES NOVAK Peacefully, on April 1, 2003, Frances Novak passed away at age 88 at Concordia Hospital. She was born in Winnipeg on December 30, 1914. Frances was predeceased by her husband Walter in 1992; sisters, Anne and Kay; brothers, Jack, Martin, Mickey and Paul. She leaves to mourn, her son Wayne (MaryAnn) with grandchildren, Adele, Alan, and Vicki; her daughter Gail with grandchildren, Brent, Kareena (Shawn), Krista (Ric) and great-grandchildren, Mykila and Landen; and her daughter Janis. She also leaves one brother Bernard Roberts and wife Mary in Toronto; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Frances was a giving and loving woman. Her greatest joy was her family especially her love for her great-grandchildren who brought such joy to her life. Thank you to Dr. B. Gorski and the staff in Emergency and N2E at Concordia Hospital. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Ave. with Very Rev. Msgr. Wesley Cwieka officiating. A private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Frances to St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2W 1Z9 or a charity of your choice.
