WALTER ROEHL It is with sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Walter William Roehl with family by his side on Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at the Lakeshore General Hospital. Walter was born on the family farm on June 1, 1924 where he farmed until his retirement in 1997, at which time he bought a house in Moosehorn. He enjoyed his home in town very much, unfortunately his health began to deteriorate. Thanks to the help of homecare workers he was able to remain at home and independent until his passing. Left to cherish his memory are his sister Elsie Widdifield (Frank), his brother Art, sister-in-law Marjorie, also many nieces, nephews and friends. Walter was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Amelia; one sister Lydia; one brother Alfred. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Peace Lutheran Church, Moosehorn with Pastor Terry Throndson. Interment to follow in the Moosehorn Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Ken and Greg Roehl; his friends, Stacy Meisner, Brent Kohut, Clarence Kiesman and Don Schedler. Mr. Dori Kiesman will deliver the eulogy. Viewing at the church prior to the service. The family wishes to thank the homecare workers, doctors, nurses and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital, paramedics and all who visited and sent cards.
