J. ROGER DESLAURIERS On Thursday, April 3, 2003 with his family by his side, J. Roger Deslauriers passed away at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre at the age of 59 years. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories his beloved wife Sandra of Ste. Rose; his five children, Darrel and wife Tammy of Laurier, Shelly and husband Mike Stephani of Winnipeg, Tracey and wife Lorianne of Ste. Rose du Lac, Shauna and husband Jason Brook of Eddystone, and Jason and wife Cindy of McCreary; along with 15 grandchildren, Tammy, Krystle, Cody, Hailey, Kiera, Craig, Ryan, Derek, Lionel, Bryan, Jacqueline, Jordan, Fallon, Alex and Ryki; his mother Clairette Deslauriers of Ste. Rose du Lac; his brothers and sisters, Claude of Ste. Rose du Lac, Gus of Cranbrook, BC, Marie-Paule and husband Lionel Gobillot of Maple Ridge, BC, Bernie of Ste. Rose du Lac, and Antoinette and husband Blair Meggisson of Cranbrook; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and many friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Trina Mathison and Debbie and Sharon of the Chemotherapy Unit at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre and all of the nurses and staff for the excellent care given to Roger during his illness. Funeral service for Roger will be held on Monday, April 7 at 2:00 p.m. from the Notre Dame des Victoires Roman Catholic Church, Laurier, MB. Fr. Michel Nault will officiate with a private family interment service to follow in the Laurier Notre Dame des Victoires Roman Catholic Parish Cemetery. Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Roger to CancerCare Manitoba or to the Chemotherapy Unit of the Dauphin Regional Health Centre.
