PAUL ARTHUR DOYLE Peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2003 at the Pine Falls Health Complex, Pine Falls, MB, Paul Doyle, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Jeanette Doyle of Pine Falls, MB passed away after a lengthy battle with ALS (Lou Garrick Disease). Besides his loving wife Jeanette of 43 years, he leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Daniel (Judy), Justin and Tyler of Windsor, ON; Fred (Elaine), Alexander and Kalyn of Selkirk; Cory (Peggy), Mercedes, Khloe, and special granddaughter Stephanie of Pine Falls. Also surviving is a brother Jimmy and his sisters, Peggy (Carl), Laura, Gladys, Muriel (Bob) and Louise (Terry) as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Louis Doyle, son Wayne and his grandchildren, Danielle and Dustin. He worked for Abitibi Price Paper Company for nearly 35 years, retiring in May of 2001. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, gardening or just walking in the woods. Since December of 2002 he was cared for by his family. In January of this year, he was moved to the Palliative Care Hospital where the doctors and nurses showed him respect, care and love while tending to his needs. The family greatly appreciates the compassion shown to Paul and our family, it will not be forgotten. A special thank you to the friends who visited him in the hospital. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. from the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview with Fr. James Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews Louis Doyle, Derek Besinski, Neil Boulette, Barry Boulette, Jason Bake and Kristjon Johnson. Friends may pay their respects at the church one-half hour prior to services. If friends so desire, memorial donations in his memory may be made to the ALS Society of Manitoba.
