STELLA HOMENIUK (nee TARASCHUK) Stella was born in Sky Lake, MB in the year 1919 and passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2003. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1988. Stella is survived by her daughter Romona and husband Lance; and two grandchildren, Kenneth and Candace. She is also survived by her loving sisters, Mary McKay and husband Jack of Victoria, BC, Natalie Rezka and husband Bob of Carefree, AZ, Terry Havlik, and Olive Carter both of Winnipeg, MB; and brother Steve Taraschuk and wife Mary of Arborg, MB; numerous nieces and nephews, including those on Williams side of the family. She will be dearly missed by everyone. May she rest and be with God. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Mr. Tom Read officiating. A private interment will take place in Sky Lake. Mother, You cared for me and loved me You told me I was special Only God knows why He chose you and me And He knows how dear you are to me. I will always miss you I will never forget you.
