Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS LORRAINE JENKINSON Peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2003, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Phyllis Jenkinson (Marr) passed away at the age of 71, with all her family by her bedside. Phyllis attended Victoria Albert School and grew up on Pacific Avenue. She met Jim in 1948 and married in September 1950. She worked at the Nutty Club and then at the General Hospital dietary cafeteria from 1963 to 1966. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Jim of 48 years; both parents, James Gerrie Marr and Kathleen Dorothy Marr (Best) sisters, Ruth, Margaret, Audrey; brothers, Henry, Robert, Bill and James; one granddaughter Debbie. She is survived by four children, Penny (Sig), Donna (Gord), Don, Shelley (Gordon) seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Angus; brother Ernie Marr. Phyllis enjoyed her camping days at Falcon Lake, Chesleys, Miami Beach. She also enjoyed watching Jim and her children at curling, and was an avid bingo player. Phyllis was a member of the West Kildonan Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. also at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Seven Oaks, 5U3, for their care and support. A personal thank you to Kelli and Val. Mom youre the greatest. We love you and will miss you.
