ABRAM DAVID WIEBE Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer our beloved father, opa, and brother Abram David Wiebe passed away on April 4, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 66 years. Abe was predeceased by his father Helmut Wiebe, his mother Margaret Wiebe and his sister Rita Fateewa. He is survived by his children, Andrew (Nancy) and Irena; and his grandchildren, Kristen, Ryan and Leanna. He also leaves behind his stepmother Katie Wall, his brothers, David (Elizabeth), Peter (Erika), Heinrich (Isolda), Rudy (Doreen) and his sister Rosie. Abe was born September 27, 1936 in the Ukraine. He moved to Winnipeg August 17, 1973 where he remained for the rest of his life. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years, then opened his own business Burnett Auto. Abes passions were his children and grandchildren. His hobbies included fishing, camping, cottage life and carpentry. The family would like to thank Dr. Andres Maksymiuk for his care. Our sincerest thanks to the nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital ward 5E. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 7 at Springfield Heights Mennonite Church, 570 Sharron Bay at 10:30 a.m. Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 6 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service.
