GRACE ALMA CURRAN Grace Alma Curran aged 96 years, passed away on April 3, 2003. Late of Chilliwack, BC. Grace is survived by her loving family, grandchildren, Bruce R. Heward of Chilliwack, Sherrie Loeb, of Chilliwack, Carol Fleming (Greg) of Sayward, BC, Harold (Susan) Heward of Chilliwack, Melvin (Amy) Heward of Chilliwack, Danny Heward of Campbell River, BC, and Tammy (Mike) Arndt of Campbell River; great-grandchildren, Angie, Lee-J, Mellissa, Michelle, Don, Vereen, Kevin, Dwayne, Angelia, Nicole, Laurant, Amanda, Shalane, Brendan, Trevor, Colton, Kyden, David, Dustin, Brandon, Tara and Kala; great-great-grandchildren, Alexis, Maya, Devon, Jordan, Jessica, Cody, Breanna, Candice, Mandy, Kirsty and Austin; nieces and nephews, Brenda and Irv Latta, Doug, Deena, Damon, Brandon, Dylan, Chaz, Rose and Les "the pest" Kerik, all other relatives in Winnipeg, MB; also her good friend Dorothy and the many other friends in her life. Predeceased by her husband Harold; daughter Ruth Heward; two granddaughters, Sharon Heward and Susan Heward; and great-granddaughter Skye. Among her many interests and hobbies were homemaking, family, volunteer work, frontiersman, camping, bowling, bingo, knitting and crocheting. A graveside service for the internment of cremated remains at Chilliwack Cemeteries will be held on Wednesday, April 9 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Doug Ireland officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the O.A.P. Hall, Branch #173 at 5725 Tyson Rd., in Sardis from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Hendersons Funeral Homes Ltd. in care of arrangements, 604-792-1344.
