ALVIN PARKS In loving memory of Alvin Parks, who passed away at the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital, on Friday, April 4, 2003 at the age of 69 years. Alvin was the loving husband of the late Joan Parks, and will be sadly missed by his children, Karen Imrie (Ken) of British Columbia; Kim Desmeules of Red Lake, Ron Parks (Donna Williams) of Cochenour, Shari Gawley (Ray) of Perrault Falls and Colleen Parks (Tom Husack) of McKenzie Island; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; his sisters, Merna Stamm (Archie) and Gail MacDonald (Lorne) his brother Jack Parks (Trudy) and all his nieces and nephews. A funeral service for the late Alvin Parks will be held Tuesday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. in the Christ Lutheran Church in Red Lake with Pastor Brian Falkenholt officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service and interment of ashes will take place at a later time. Visitation will be held on Tuesday in the Christ Lutheran Church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Should friends desire, donations to the Diabetes Association may be made through the Stevens Funeral Homes "Red Lake Chapel", P.O. Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
