ELIZABETH (BETTY) WOOD (nee CAMPBELL) Peacefully, after a brief illness, Elizabeth Wood passed away at the age of 81 on Sunday, April 6, 2003. Elizabeth was born in Winnipeg on March 25, 1922 and resided here until the time of her passing. Mom is survived by her husband of 63 years, Vern (Verdun) and twin daughters, Beverley Mitchler and Barbara Palleva (Dario). She will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Lisa Tallaire (Maurice) and Anthony Palleva, and by her great-grandchildren, Taylor and Zachary Tallaire. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, Elsie Brow (Ron), Merle Keck, and Joan Sipley (Mel) and families, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Elizabeth is also survived by good friend Isabel Hatch. Elizabeth was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Jemima Campbell; brothers, Bert and George; sisters, Jean and Muriel, and by her son-in-law Harold Mitchler. At Moms request, there will be no memorial service and cremation has taken place. "Mom, may you rest in peace". "We love you, Gramma".
