ANGUS JOHN MACDONALD On Thursday morning, April 10, 2003 at Riverview Health Centre, Angus John MacDonald passed away peacefully at age 78 years. Angus is lovingly remembered by his wife Frieda; his chosen sons, Raymond and Ken; his chosen grandchildren, Kevin and Amy; his sister Mary (Jim) MacLean; his sister Isabelle MacDonald; his brother Archie MacDonald; and numerous nieces and nephews. Angus was predeceased by his mother Kate and father Neil, his sister Renalda (Lloyd) Anthony, his brother Rod MacDonald, his sister Katie MacDonald, brother-in-law Alex MacDonald and an infant sister. Angus was in the Armed Forces during the Second World War from 1943 to 1946, and in the Korean War from 1950 to 1954. After leaving the Armed Forces, Angus was a Stationery Engineer for the Armed Forces, then with Public Works and finally with Sherwin Williams. He enjoyed fishing at his favourite spot in Selkirk. The family would like to thank Dr. P. Galbraith, Dr. T. Khan, Dr. J. Mayba, Dr. Mulder and all the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for being so kind.
