ELEANOR AGNES EDMONDS 1935 - 2003 After a courageous battle with cancer the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother at her home on April 4, 2003. Eleanor was predeceased by her father and mother William and Helen Gunn. She is survived by her husband Allen, her three sons, Randall (Marilyn), Robert (Brenda) and William; granddaughters, Nicole and Christa; grandsons, Tyler, Raymond and Jason; as well as by cousins, nieces and nephews. Eleanor was a caring mother and dedicated homemaker who looked out for her family first. She enjoyed spending time at our trailer in the summer and also spending time with her friends there. She enjoyed the simple things in life and will be greatly missed. Keeping with Eleanors wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal funeral service. A graveside service will be held at the Sunnyside Cemetery on Wednesday, April 9 at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. James Zurbriggen officiating. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kowaluk and all the home care workers, Donna, Debbie, Susan, Joanne, Julie and Sandy; homecare nurses, Pat and Terry for the tremendous care and assistance they gave Mom. We would also like to thank friends, family and neighbours for their help and compassion they have given Mom and family. It is greatly appreciated. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
