ESTHER GREENBERG On Monday, April 7, 2003, Esther Greenberg passed away in her sleep at the Simkin Centre of the Sharon Home. Esther is survived by her children, Sherman (Toby), Alan (Lois) and Joanne; her grandchildren, Joshua, Naomi, James and Sarah; her brother Earl Essers (Beverly) her brother-in-law Frank Kaplan; and her sister-in-law Pauline Essers. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ted; parents Meier and Rose Essers; by her brothers, Leon and Fred Essers; and by her sister Anne Kaplan. Esther was well known for her determination and attention to detail which got her through many of lifes trials and tribulations. Her family and friends will sadly miss her. The family would like to thank the staff at the Sharon Home for their patience in the face of Esthers determination, and for their sensitive and compassionate care, especially as her life was ebbing away in the last couple of weeks. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Herzlia Synagogue, 620 Brock St. (at Fleet), with interment at Rosh Pina Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Sharon Home or to a charity of your choice.
