Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELISA FLAVIE LAMONTAGNE (nee PELLAND) With her family by her side, Lisa Lamontagne passed away peacefully April 6, 2003, at the Saint Boniface General Hospital. Memere will be missed by her son Brian and wife Heather; her son Ronald and wife Diane; her sister Cleo; her grandchildren, Michelline, Christine, Edouard, Nicole and husband Pascal; and three great-granddaughters, Sarah, Marina and Anna. She was also blessed with a large extended family and many friends who held a special place in her heart and who will miss her dearly. Lisa was predeceased by her husband Ted; her parents, Alpherie and Claudia; her sisters, Irene and Yvonne; and her brothers, Ernest and Rene. Lisa was born May 7, 1916 in Saint Boniface, where she resided her entire life. She possessed an incredible strength of character that carried her gracefully through her 87 years. She was a caregiver, often putting her own needs aside in order to care for her grandparents, parents and, in turn, her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memere loved to entertain and enjoyed celebrating every occasion in the company of family and friends. She was barely five feet tall, but her shoes will be impossible to fill. The family wishes to thank the staff of the emergency and palliative care units at the Saint Boniface General Hospital, as well as the Winnipeg Fire and Ambulance Service. A celebration of Lisas life will be held on Thursday, April 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edward J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. Flowers are gratefully declined. In keeping with Lisas caring nature, donations may be made to a charity of choice. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: EDWARD J. COUTU LTD. 680 Archibald Street 253-5086
