THELMA G. STEWART Thelma Stewart, of Tatamagouche, NS, died April 4, 2003, in Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital, Tatamagouche. Born in Boston, MA, October 17, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Catherine (MacEachern) (Menzie) Langille. Thelma graduated from the St. John General Hospital nursing program in 1938. She worked as a nurse in Boston before leaving nursing to spend more time with her family. Thelma and Freeman lived in Toronto for many years, as well as in London, England, before retiring to her family home in Tatamagouche. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her daughter Diane, Winnipeg; grandsons, Ian Windle (Cara), Winnipeg; Aaron, Thailand. She was predeceased by her husband Freeman; sister Dorothy Leslie. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Sunnybrae Cemetery, Tatamagouche. Memorial donations can be made to the North Shore Health Services Foundation.
