DORIS WELLS Our much loved mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 9, 2003, after a long battle with ALS. She is survived by her daughter Donna (husband Jim), their children, Quinn, Sean, Brenna and Reilly of Kamloops, BC; and a sister Edith in Victoria, BC. Doris was born in Winnipeg November 19, 1924 and moved to Kamloops in 1997. Those of you who knew her will appreciate her life and caring ways. She will be missed. Thanks must be given to the numerous nurses and caregivers of Overlander Extended Care Home in Kamloops. They have been angels in disguise, especially in the last few days of her life. Cremation has taken place. No service will be held. If desired, donations may be made to Manitoba ALS Society, Salvation Army or the Winnipeg Humane Society. A Gaelic Blessing - May the roads rise to meet you. May the wind be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; The rain fall soft up on your fields And, until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
