WILFRED ELLIS It is with deepest sorrow on Thursday, April 10, 2003, at the Grace Hospital, we announce the passing of our beloved husband and papa, Wilfred Ellis. Wilfred was predeceased by his father John, his mother Melrose Bouma, stepfather John Bouma and brothers, Jim and Mike. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Noella, sister Evelyn (Bill), brothers, David (Jane) and Frank. His spoilt "brats", Dawn (George), Steve, John (Brenda), Wilfie (Teresa), Tim (Lisa) and Todd (Corina) 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilf was a charter member of Knights of Columbus at St. Charles Parish. He started work at C.P. Rail and retired as a supervisor in 1985. Wilf was a loving kindhearted man and everyone knew papa for his great sense of humour and willingness to help all those around him. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, summers spent at the lake, watching old time movies and especially enjoyed time with his family including his precious dogs Benji and Missy. We wish to thank Marilyn Holland, the Paramedics, Dr. Y. Kotecha and nurses and staff at Grace Hospital Emergency and ICU for their care and compassion. Funeral mass will be conducted by Monsignor Moore at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles St. at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15. Viewing will be held one-half hour prior to the service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
