JENNIE FOUNTAIN (nee PACHKOWSKY) After a brief illness, Jennie Fountain (nee Pachkowsky), passed away on Friday, April 11, 2003 at the Pine Falls Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Brian (Jean), Sharon, Mark (Irene), and Brad (Louise), all of Powerview, and Wendy of Edmonton, AB; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brothers, Norman (Helen) of Pine Falls, and Julius (Joyce) of Winnipeg; as well as her sister Sandra (Richard) Schrader of Bowden, AB; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas, her daughter Margo Courcelles, and her brother Lawrence. Mom was a lady of many talents. Besides being a caring and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Jennie loved to do woodwork, needle crafts and sewing. Also, the costumes she made for the local figure skating club and family members, are well known to those in and around the area. She loved to talk to people and did so on a regular basis. Most of all, her world centered around her family. Her favourite pastime of all was baking and cooking for her close friends and family. She enjoyed talking about growing up on the prairies and telling tales about her school days. We her children will deeply miss her because she was always there to help or comfort us; she truly remains deeply in our hearts... our Mommy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E., Beausejour with Mr. Richard Farquahr presiding. Service will terminate at the chapel and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
