WAYNE HARVEY GREENWOOD It is with deep sadness we mourn the passing of Wayne, aged 64 years, on Sunday, April 13, 2003, at Selkirk General Hospital. Wayne was a very generous and caring person who leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Dena; daughter Isobel (Brad) stepdaughter Denise; stepson Walter (Georgina) and grandchildren, Brittany, Cody and Donavin. Predeceased by his parents Bert and Isobel Greenwood. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Bob Hardwick (Wanda) his sisters-in-law, Marion (Stoogie), Ingrid (Dan), Darlene (Ian) and Kay (Bruce) and many nieces and nephews. Wayne worked with MTS for 35 years, retiring February 3, 1994. Shortly after retiring, he continued to work on with Munroe Construction. Wayne was active in the community involvement. Wayne had a heart of gold and was always there for anyone who needed help. He always had a smile on his face and you knew he was around when you heard that special laugh of his. He loved to play card games with his special mother-in-law Dolly Hardwick. Wayne always looked forward to travelling to Treherne to visit with his special friend Glenn Turnbull. In accordance with Waynes wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
