RUTH EVON OBERMAN (nee VICKELL) February 4, 1930 - April 12, 2003 Mother passed away peacefully at her home April 12, 2003. Born on the Saskatchewan prairie with the help of a Red Cross Outpost Nurse. She leaves to mourn five children, Elroy, Sheren, Joann (Anna), Saul and Sarina; as well as four grandchildren, Adam, Lasha, Leif and Nathan; her brother Raymond Vickell (Gwen). A woman of many interests, family, business, politics. She immersed herself in all life had to offer. Her final days were spent visiting with family and friends too numerous to mention. Graveside services will be held at the Bnay Abraham Cemetery, 4639 Main St. 12:00 noon, April 14. Pallbearers: Greg Vickell, Robert Vickell, Streetter Vickell, John Vickell (honorary) Nicky Schipper, Ed Calnitsky, Phil Calnitsky, Michael Katz (honorary).
